Artists and Writers alike come together to create a free digital zine re-imagining the beach episode we never got! If you would like to be a contributer, please see our guidelines page! Welcome to the Guidelines!
Formatting - US letter size, 8.5x11in or 2550x3300px with 300-350 dpi
(If you are a traditional artist, please contact a moderator.)
The theme is "Beach Episode," and thumbnails are required as part of the application process, if you need help or an example of what your thumbnails should look like, an example will be provided in the application. You are allowed to provide multiple thumbnails.
For writers, a short description of your fic will be required, and an example of your writing (threadfics, ao3 fics, or unpublished works are acceptable examples.
Comic artists, the same goes for you! A small thumbnail and/or a short script are required!
We are considering a coloring book option for people to print/download and play with at home! This will be OPTIONAL and included on the application, you will be automatically assumed to opt out if you do not answer there.
We require these things to avoid repetition- we are not here to judge your art or works! However, it is first come first served, so if your idea and someone else's are the same, whoever came first will be given priority. If you're doing different mediums, we may ask you to pair up!
NOW- the fun part! Bathing suits and beachwear, accidental mermaid meetings and weird alien beaches? Those are all acceptable! We are asking the question of "What would happen on a beach day episode? Who would they fight? How do they spend their vacation time?" and it's up to YOU to answer that!

Will there be NSFW in this zine?
No! We want this zine to be accessible to everyone, so there will be no NSFW this time. In the future, we will consider making side projects so NSFW only artists can be included. For now, SFW is easiest for everyone! If you have questions about whether your piece is appropriate or not, please message a Moderator!Will ships be allowed?
Yes! However, we would prefer if artists didn't focus on ships, as we would like to focus on variety for this zine. A limited amount of romantic pairings for each ship will be allowed, and it is first come first serve.
ALL PLATONIC PAIRINGS are allowed.
Shaladin pairings (sheith, shidge, shance, shunk, shallura) will not be permitted. Applications of people who are known supporters of that kind of content will be disregarded and the user will be noted and banned from all future projects.
